“Exactly one year ago today I walked into the Fitzwilliam Institute for my first day of my Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations with Event Management. Fitzwilliam gave me the insights and knowledge of Public Relations that you could only learn from the best in the industry. I made a great group of friends who made the experience even more enjoyable. Walking through the pink door of Elevate PR on the 6th of January was the beginning of what has turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to me. I joined the most supportive team as an intern, getting to take part in lots of different projects and draft reports and reviews. After 6 weeks of fun in the office and at various events, I was offered a full-time position as Junior Account Executive and it was the quickest yes I have ever said. Two weeks later Covid hit and we began our remote working at home. Since then I have continued to learn about the industry through working on accounts that I could only ever dream of working on such as Charlotte Tilbury, The Ivy Dawson Street and Volvo. The opportunities that I have been given in the past year are some that I didn’t think I would ever be offered and that is all thanks to a very supportive team at Elevate PR. What a year it has been, here’s to many more!”
