Event Coordinator

Fitzers Catering are currently recruiting an Events Coordinator for our racecourse division based at Leopardstown racecourse

Role and Responsibilities

  • Respond to all sales enquiries in a timely manner to maximise revenue
  • Maintain an accurate detailed client database
  • Co-ordinate the administration of all events to include signed contracts, event sheets and table plans
  • Liaise closely will finance team in relation to billing
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through excellent communication and coordination with other departments
  • Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with clients and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate bar extensions for events as required
  • Conduct site visits for social and corporate clients
  • Assist clients with menu planning, table arrangements and equipment hire
  • Issue post event client satisfaction surveys
  • Adhoc admin duties as required

Person Specification

  • Highly proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in a hospitality environment is desirable
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Own transport essential - some travel required to Fairyhouse and the Curragh racecourse
