ADIFF DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN
This is an incredible opportunity to join a team of dedicated, professional, creative and well-connected sector leaders on a digital and social campaign that will attract huge attention, in Ireland and internationally.
Working closely with Marketing consultants Tom Lawlor and Sinead McPhillips, as well as the wider ADIFF team, the digital marketing internship is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the largest arts marketing campaigns in the calendar and create engaging content that gets shared.
We’re looking for a savvy and enthusiastic digital native to join our team as a Digital Marketing Intern between November and the festival in February 2017 in our Dublin office. Initially part time, you’ll become a full time member of the team as the event draws closer.
We’re looking for someone who has drive, ambition, creative flair and a passion for film, festivals and events. The digital marketing intern will brainstorm, create and distribute engaging content across social media and work with our partners to strengthen ADIFF’s digital presence.

Required skills
● Strong interest in festivals and arts marketing, preferably with an interest in pursuing a career in arts/film marketing
● Digitally savvy and ahead of the curve on all digital and social opportunities
● A digital native, with personal or professional presence across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
● Proven experience in devising and creating engaging social content
● Excellent visual communication skills
● A detailed knowledge of the tools available to create social content
● Meticulous attention to detail
● Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google
Calendars, Dropbox
● Excellent and demonstrable organisational skills
● Ability to manage your time effectively
● Ability to work well as part of a dynamic team in an office environment and off-site on content creation
Preferred skills but not essential
● A background in content creation and digital media
● Experience as an admin across brand or professional social media accounts
● Experience in a similar organisation or film festival
● Experience maintaining a CRM / website
Duties
● Content creation for all social media accounts
● Social media management
● Scheduling and time management of social calendar
● Adapting received assets in line with brand guidelines
● Manage Facebook Live / Periscope events
● Weekly/responsive content creation in line with sales figures
● Creating content for online campaigns across restaurant, cafe, venue and bar partners
● Create engaging email newsletter imagery
● Creating detailed weekly reports
● Assist in coordinating events including co-ordination of social media, website, newsletters
● Collation of materials to support PR campaign and regular updating of media online
● Liaison between festival team and festival venues’ marketing/digital teams.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
● LOCATION - The position is based in our Dublin city centre office
● PERIOD - End of November to first week in March
Initially part time from end of November, increasing to
3 days per week in December, and full-time as the festival draws closer in January
● HOURS - Normal working day 10am - 6pm. During festival dates (two weeks in February), a flexible approach to working hours is required with a willingness to work evenings and weekends to support the workload.

We will work with you to ensure that the internship meets the conditions for course placement / credits.
REMUNERATION
ADIFF is committed to providing support for carrying out the position and a stipend will be provided to cover out of pocket expenses.
