Leinster Rugby vs Bath
Friday 26 August 2016
Venue: Donnybrook Stadium
Leinster Rugby take on England’s Bath in a pre-season friendly...well, the score doesn’t count but it probably won't be totally friendly.
The last time Leinster and Bath clashed on the pitch in February, Bath were knocked out of the Champions Cup. Their hopes of progressing in the tournament were destroyed by a stunning Leinster team which flaunted new talent such as Gary Ringrose and Ross Molony, who rugby fans will be hearing a lot more about in the near future.
In this friendly, Bath will be keen to expose any Leinster weaknesses, and Leinster will be looking to push Bath to their limit physically and mentally. It will be contentious and testy, a real treat for any rugby fans among you.
This match will also be a great way to ease yourself into a long season of matches and tournaments. Look out for who has form and which teams look promising for the season ahead, and you’ll get even more out of all the cups and fixtures in coming months.
